Charity Dinner
CPM were proud to attend a Charity Dinner held at Salute's restaurant in Rothwell, with all proceed's going directly to The Childrens Heart Fund, which is the charity of Josh Andrews.
Present were guest speakers present amongst which were John Stiles and Peter Lorimer, Leeds United Legends, the cast of Emmerdale and press coverage from Yorkshire Evening Post.
Items auctioned on the night and raffle prizes brought a total donation figure to £15,000 plus toys, DVD's & computer games were presented directly to the children on Ward 10 at Leeds General Infirmary, hopefully to make their time in hospital that little bit more pleasant.
A big thank you to all our customers and suppliers who gave cash donations or items for raffle/auction.

CPM Charity of the Year
After many weeks of searching for the right charity, it was decided that instead of sending a one-off yearly donation to a well known charity we would rather find a local deserving child.
We have not only found one child but have found two children, local to us who we feel would greatly benefit.
Meet The Children First we have Joshua Andrews, age 13 who was born with the main arteries in his heart the wrong way and had to have one of the most difficult operations that can be performed on children. In addition he had a hole in his heart muscles and a narrowing of one of his arteries, which constricted blood flow to his heart. It is thought that if Josh had been born a few years earlier then it is unlikely he would have ever seen his first birthday.
In 2006 Josh underwent a 17 hour intricate operation to repair one of his arteries, which in turn would repair the hole in his heart. Then we have Aiden Healey, age 13 and suffers from a rare condition called "juvenile detmatomyositis, this is an autoimmune disease, which causes the body's immune system to attack its own muscle, skin and blood vessels and has robbed the sports-mad youngster of his mobility.
Only two children's in a million in the UK are affected.
What are we doing?
CPM are holding a number of corporate days throughout the year and we are asking our client's to give a donation on each occasion.
All donations received from our client's will be matched by CPM so for instance if our clients donate £100, CPM will donate £100 giving a total donation of £200. This will then be spent equally between the boys.
Josh's donations will be to buy a piece of equipment for The Children's Heart Fund, and to buy items for children like Josh who are being cared for at the Leeds General Infirmary, Ward 10.
Aiden's donations will be to buy him a mobility scooter with any additional funds going directly to the "Aiden Healy Fund".
